The Vintage Signals Team, led by HCol Ken Lloyd, had the opportunity to visit Vimy, France to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. The Team was in Arras, France at the Artois Expo. We thank the Team for representing the Signals family and giving such a unique experience to visiting students. The 709 Toronto Signals Cadet Corps visited Fort Drum, home of the 10th Mountain Division, during the March Break. During the week the cadets enjoyed various activities including a tour of the army airfield where they were given the opportunity to see firsthand an Apache and Blackhawk Helicopter, experiencing various flight simulators, touring the explosive ordinance and demolition branch, watching the Military Police demonstrate the abilities of their working dogs and visiting the National Guard where they were allowed free access to the 4 Strykers (armoured vehicles).  Cadets also had the opportunity to get in some bowling and recreational sports on the base.

Our Cadet Corps is celebrating its 60th Anniversary. The Anniversary Mess Dinner takes place on Friday, May 12, 2017.

The annual Mercury Ball hosted by the Junior Ranks' Mess Committee was held on Sat, 6 May 2017 at the RCMI. It was another enjoyable and well-attended event. Thank you to all who participated. For photos, click here.
