MWO Leonard (Len) Pelletier, CD (1923-2018) - long time member of the unit, Jimmy & Associates and the Warriors' Day Parade Council. Len was in his 95th year.

Ed Lukosius was a lineman. Ed passed away 15 Aug 2017.

Michael Wobowsk passed away 16 Nov 2016. Michael was a member of the Toronto Signals Band.

Maj Susan Weston, CD passed away 12 Nov 2016. Maj Weston was a member of 709 Comm Regt and was a CIC officer for several years.

Don McKinlay (1923-2016) passed away on 2 Oct 2016 in his 93rd year. He was a WW II veteran (Italy, France, Netherlands). He was a long-time memer of Jimmy and Associates and was the Membership Chair for several years.

Cy Mann passed away on 25 Aug 2016. He was a member of the Toronto Signals Band, joining in the 1940's. He designed the band's crest.

Eugene Seymour passed away 29 May 2016. Gene was a member of the Toronto Signals Band.

Clayton Everett Moss passed away 25 Feb 2016 in his 96th year. Clayton Moss served with the Engineers in WW II. He was a former Commissionaire at Fort York Armoury for many years.

T. Bruce Adams passed away 13 Jan 2016. Bruce was a member of the Toronto Signals Band (swing tenor). Bruce also served with teh RCN in WW II.

Maj Richard Leswick, CD passed away 14 Dec 2015 at the age of 61. Major Leswick was the Commanding Officer of 709 Signals Royal Canadian Army Cadets (formerly 2605) for many years.

Harold Brister passed away 22 Mar 2015. He was the Drum Major of the Toronto Signals Band in the 1980's.

Sgt Bill Askin, CD, (1927-2015) passed away in his 88th year in Port Hope, ON. He was a member of 8 Signal Regiment and one of the founding members of Jimmy & Associates.

George Walford passed away on 12 Nov 2015. George was a member of the Toronto Signals Band.

Lt Ken McPhatter (1930-2 Mar 2014) passed away in his 83rd year in Barrie, ON. He was a member of 8 Signal Regiment.

Norman Lawton (29 Nov 1920 - 14 Feb 2014) was a long-time member of Jimmy & Associates. He served in WWII with the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division as a signalman in Normandy (Juno Beach), France (Caen), Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. He was a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion(Oshawa Branch) and the Shriners Hospital for Children.

John Harden (19 Jul 1922-14 Sep 2013) was a long-time member of Jimmy & Associates. John was a WWII veteran; he served with the 1st Canadian Division Signals in Sicily, Italy and Northwest Europe.

Cpl Mark Di Iorio passed away on 11 Aug 2013 after a short illness. He was 47 years old. Mark was a lineman with 709 Comm Regt in the 1980's. He was a firefighter and lived with his family in London, Ontario.

Maj Fred Butler-Caughie passed away on 4 Aug 2013 after a brave short battle with cancer. He was our long-time regimental padre.

Cpl Richard Wong was killed in an ATV accident in Ottawa on 25 Jul 2013 at age 42. Richard was a member of 709 Comm Regt. He was a graduate of the University of Toronto. He ran his own IT company in the Toronto financial sector before moving to Ottawa to work with leading edge internet technologies, developing expertise in security and system administration.

Sgt Jim Curtis passed away on 7 Jun 2013 at the Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Wing. Jim was a long-time member and Past President of Jimmy and Associates and a member of the Flag Party.

Frank Freeman passed away on 6 Jun 2013. Frank was the unit Sgt-Major. Jimmy and Associates BBQs were held at the Freeman farm for many years.

Sgt Robert (Bob) Blenkhorn passed away after a brief illness on 1 Apr 2013 in his 92nd year. He served with the Signal Corps in WWII and was a member of 8 Signal Regiment. Bob was President of Jimmy and Associates for many years and was a member of the Flag Party.

LCol W. G. (Bud) Chandler, CD passed away on 1 Feb 2013 in his 93rd year. He was a WWII veteran and the Commanding Officer of 8 Signal Regiment in 1956.

John Reynolds passed peacefully on January 31, 2013 in Toronto in his 91st year. John was a WWII veteran of the Italian and European campaigns serving in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 345 and a long standing member of Jimmy and Associates.

Earl Lisk, CD (1928 - 24 Oct 2012) - Earl was a member of Jimmy & Associates. He served in the Regular Force from 17 Oct 1946 to 1 Nov 1979. He was posted to the NWT & Yukon Radio Systems and served in multiple UN operations: Korea, UNEF, Congo and UNME

L Col Bruce Boyd (ret'd) CD (24 Sep 1929-19 Jul 2012) - LCol Boyd was the CO of 709 (Toronto) Communication Regiment from 1970 to 1975.

Eric Cozens (died 29 Jun 2012) was a long time friend of the Regiment, Jimmy & Associates and member of the 32 Signal Regimental Council.

Maj Don Kerr (11 May 1921-15 Dec 2011) was a member of 2nd Division Signals; landed on Gold Beach on D-Day and was part of Operation Market Garden, the liberation of Holland. He was Mentioned in Dispatches for Distinguished Service and decorated with the Oak Leaf Cluster. Don received the Minister of Veteran Affairs Commendation in recognition of his outstanding service to his country, community and fellow veterans.

Alex Lingard (died 10 Jan 2012) was a World War II veteran and member of 8 Signal Regiment.
Phyllis Cummings (died 12 Jan 2012) was the beloved wife of the late Joe Cummings. Joe and Phylllis were long time member of Jimmy and Associates.
